Ray of Light – Collection 1993 – Photographic Transparency with Dimmable LightBox 24 X 36

From my exhibit Shadow, Sun & Mountain 1993, this is a large transparency film of an image taken from my work photographing the Yi.  They are part of the 55 different ethnic minority groups in China and I was fortunate to work with an anthropologist from John Hopkins University.  It was Chinese New Year and the granary was abundant with the harvest of that year.  I stumbled on this shed and this image has remained one of my most favorite memories.
