Great Wall of China- View of Cherry Blossoms

The Wall of China was normally crowded with tourists jostling to get past each other especially in the narrower spots.  The path up to the wall was strewn with one stall after another filled with every replica and imitation of the marvel itself.   That day, timing was everything.  The overcast sky gave a soft even glow of light and the cherry blossoms were at their peak.  I tried to capture a moment with fewer people. The section where we walked had been reconstructed so the walkway was wide and easy going.   I saw the blossoms as I approached the first arch and really wanted to get as close as possible to them.  When I saw the break in the wall and stones that tumbled over the edge, I jumped down.  It was not planned but I think this is a very unique angle of the Wall of China.
