Pile of Winter Leaves – BC, Canada

The snow was deep but the sun was out.  Our favorite dog park for our tiny dogs, was Port Kells Park on 88^th Ave.  The parking lot was snow packed. The dogs gingerly picked their way around to smell the odd scent through the snow.  There were leaves everywhere.  I am fascinated with all leaves on the ground at this time.  It takes time to grow to this size and now at the end of their lives they still have texture, color and another look on life.  When I added a filter to the shot the blue snow intensified.
