Tree and Cows on Green Hill
Kohala Mountain Road to Waimea winds over gentle rolling hills. Being on the rainy side of the Big Island, the area was green and there were trees growing in clumps. It had been raining off and on all day. As I turned the corner at the Kohala Mountain look out, the clouds parted. I saw the cows first and by the time I parked, the light perfectly lit the tree. The hill was a superb green cleaned from the light rain. The cows were just an added bonus.
