Bee on Dahlia – Metal Print

 Art on Brushed Silver Metal! The highlights shine through, creating a totally unique and contemporary look.

Every year at the height of the dahlia production in my garden each flower is recorded.  This red dahlia was on my studio table ready to record when a bee landed.  It was already interesting with the bee but later on the computer I wanted to added a further layer.  I chose a glass filter.  It became an extraordinary image especially by leaving some of the natural color of the bee on the contemporary metal look.  When printed on 3mm Brushed Aluminum Panel, the whites are brilliant and with lighting on the image the highlights change and twinkle as you walk past.
